MBOSE REDUCES CHAPTERS FROM CLASS-IX & X BOOKS

To ease the academic load of students, the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has rationalized the English and Social Science textbooks for Classes IX and X.

Recognizing the challenges faced by Class X students, particularly with their Board exams scheduled for December 2025, the Board has decided to remove certain chapters and lessons from these subjects.

While some chapters/lessons have been retained, others have been either partially or completely removed. Additionally, a few have been designated for Internal Assessment only.
