THE SILK ROAD CLASS-XI (SNAPSHOTS) IMPORTANT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ----------------------------------------------------- Q. The narrator, while travelling to Mount Kailash, observed many changes in the landscape. Discuss. Answer: The narrator and his companions took a short-cut to leave the Changtang region. Tsetan knew a route that would lead them southwest, almost straight towards Mount Kailash. Dear Diary,

This winter vacation was wonderful! I spent most of the time with my family. We visited my grandparents in their village. The mornings were cold, but the warmth of my grandmother’s handmade sweaters kept us cozy. I enjoyed sitting by the fireplace, listening to my grandfather’s stories about his childhood.

One evening, we all made hot pakoras and tea. It was fun helping my mother in the kitchen. During the day, I played with my cousins in the open fields. We flew kites, played hide and seek, and laughed a lot.

On the last day, we visited a beautiful park with lots of colorful flowers. The view was amazing! I clicked many pictures to keep as memories.

This winter vacation was simple but full of joy. I will never forget the happy moments spent with my family.

Goodnight, Diary!

Dear Diary,

Today was a beautiful day! I visited my old friend after many years. We used to be so close during school days, but life took us on different paths. As soon as I saw my friend, all the memories came rushing back. We hugged tightly and couldn’t stop smiling.

We sat in the cozy living room, talking about everything — school memories, our families, and work life. It felt as if no time had passed at all. We laughed at silly jokes and shared stories of our struggles and achievements.

Later, we enjoyed a simple meal together, just like the old days. The warmth and comfort of true friendship filled my heart with joy. Promising to meet again soon, I left with a heart full of gratitude.

Old friends truly are treasures — their company is like a time machine taking us back to our happiest moments.

Dear Diary,

Today was our school farewell day, and it was a bittersweet experience. The entire hall was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers. Our juniors hosted a lovely program filled with dances, songs, and heartfelt speeches. They made us feel so special.

Our teachers shared wise words and memories from the years we spent with them. It made me realize how much I will miss this place. Some of my friends got emotional, and so did I. We clicked many pictures together to capture this unforgettable day.

The highlight was when we received our farewell badges and lit candles for a symbolic walk, marking the beginning of a new journey. The moment felt magical.

I am grateful for all the memories, friendships, and lessons learned here. Though I feel sad to leave, I am excited about the future. This school will always have a special place in my heart.
