The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) has announced that the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Supplementary Examinations 2025 will be held from May 1 to May 8, 2025. To,

The Chairman,
The Municipal Board,
Tura, Meghalaya,

Dated Tura, the 26th September, 2024

Subject: Water leakage.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention the severe water leakage in our locality due to broken pipes. The issue has persisted for the past few weeks, and despite several informal complaints, no action has been taken. This continuous leakage not only leads to significant water wastage but also causes inconvenience to the residents. The streets are often flooded, making it difficult for pedestrians to walk, and the stagnant water may become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, posing health risks.

If immediate action is not taken, it could lead to a shortage of clean water in the area, and the damaged infrastructure might deteriorate further. I kindly request you to address this issue at the earliest and send a team to repair the damaged pipes.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Andruf
