Introduction:

Newspapers are a collection of broad sheets with printed news, information, tales, articles, advertising, etc. It is very important for keeping us informed about local and international events. Newspapers are collections of news stories from around the globe that keep us informed about everything important happening outside our homes. Daily habit of news reading is advised. It is a beneficial habit since it broadens our general knowledge and makes us aware of the political, social, and economic problems facing our nation.

Advantages of Newspapers:                                 

Newspapers improve our knowledge and aware us on what is happening in the nation and also globally. Also, it acquaints us with the geography, social makeup, and politics of our nation. One of those pastimes that can be done practically any place and has no negative effects is reading the newspaper. The newspaper has become a need of modern life. It is offered in practically every language in the market. We learned about cultures, traditions, the arts, classical dancing, etc. from the newspaper. It informs us of the days and dates of the fairs, festivals, occasions, cultural events, etc. in our modern age when nobody has time to learn about things other their job. It never gets boring because it is a compilation of news and intriguing information about society, education, the future, inspiring messages, and other themes. Newspapers also mould the public opinion and readers can also participate and get their views published in the newspapers. By its interesting topics, it constantly stimulates and fascinates us to learn about everything in the world.


Disadvantages of Newspapers:
 
Newspapers can also prove to be dangerous if it is based on biased facts and informations. Many ideological groups have an impact on different newspapers. So, the reality described in the media may occasionally be distorted. They have been curled to fit the group's interests. Thus, the news published in newspapers may be fake. Every day, millions of paper are used to print millions of papers. So much papers are being wasted despite the fact that everything is done online and we are urged to switch to e-bills to reduce the amount of paper used for print charges. Internet users can surely read newspapers online. Though newspapers increase our knowledge of language and vocabulary, however, poor content may decrease this knowledge.

Inspite of its disadvantages, newspapers are an important part of our daily life. Newspapers are cheap and the best way for getting information all over the world.
